Terms of Use

These conditions govern all use of this website, including reading its content and submitting a query through a search tool. Continuing to use the site signifies acceptance. If you do not agree, discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned website is not connected to Kimble County, Texas, or any government body. This site and its advertising partners do not offer services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) decisions. The resource identifies criminal-record channels in Kimble County. It is neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not store official records, conduct official checks, retrieve case files, or submit papers for a visitor.

Its purpose is to identify the Kimble County Sheriff, local courts, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry as appropriate custodians, while also linking to outside research tools. Government disclosure is governed by laws such as the Texas Public Information Act, while Texas Government Code Chapter 411 limits dissemination of state criminal-history data.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on the following restrictions. You will not:

  • Use the site in violation of federal, Texas, or local law
  • Stalk, threaten, or harass a person with information found here
  • Use content for a housing, hiring, lending, or insurance decision
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Deploy scrapers, bots, or other automated collection tools against the pages
  • Disrupt service or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No one may use this site's information or a linked tool to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or discriminate against another person. That prohibition is especially important for Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data. Texas law does not authorize threats, vigilantism, or discriminatory misuse of a public registry listing. Such conduct may violate criminal or civil law.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Our services and those advertised here are not designed to screen an applicant, assess a rental application, set an insurance rate, or measure creditworthiness. You must not use site or linked-tool data to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a tenant or housing applicant
  • Set insurance terms or assess credit
  • Decide eligibility for a permit, license, or government benefit
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A regulated purpose requires a lawful, FCRA-compliant process outside this site.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a warrant, charge, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to a specific matter. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for that assessment.

6. No Warranties

All content is supplied "as is." We make no promise that:

  • Information is complete, accurate, or current at all times
  • The service will remain uninterrupted
  • Every page is free from bugs, errors, or security defects
  • A partner search result will be accurate or comprehensive

Criminal records change as charges are filed or dismissed and as courts issue expunction or nondisclosure orders. Information can lag. No site statement is an official declaration from the Sheriff, a court, Texas DPS, or another government office.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to county offices, courts, state agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, prices, or availability and accept no responsibility for them. Review that service's terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Kimble County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Written permission is required to copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from that material.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from site use, linked services, or reliance on information obtained through either.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your site use or breach of these terms, including related legal costs and fees.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute connected with use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision becomes effective when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the extent needed for enforcement.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be sent through the Contact page.
